Last year, my innovation journey as an IFRC Innovation Pioneer began. I was selected among hundreds of applicants to leverage innovation across the British Red Cross, in particular, Refugee Services.  Together with other 27 other Pioneers, we have received face-to-face training, access to invaluable mentors, and the freedom to explore, implement and enable innovation. For me, innovation is best performed in an inclusive, energetic environment, which is why I created a team to support each other as well as the project itself. The video above showcases just a small piece of what being an innovator means for the British Red Cross and myself.

Kit is one of the IFRC Global Innovation Pioneers. She is currently working for the British Red Cross.
