In February 2018, the Bootcamp of the Fintech Islamic Finance Challenge was celebrated at IE Business School with the five finalists, the jury members and several essential figures from Islamic Finance, IsDB, IE and KAU.

The IFRC Innovation team won the first place of the challenge with the proposal “Duty and Dignity in Financing”. The project proposes using the principles of Islamic Finance in combination with blockchain technology as a peer-to-peer funding tool.
